The Artchitects is a high-energy band formed in 2011 by young musicians from both sides of the divided city of Mitrovica, Kosovo. The musical chemistry between the band members was spotted by Dutch band coach Ruud Borgers during a band camp of the Mitrovica Rock School. Borgers went on to coach the band as they started writing and producing their own material. While the band cannot safely meet in their own town, they have performed in the Netherlands, Northern Italy and Macedonia, and recorded an online album. All current members have grown from students to teachers at the Mitrovica Rock School. The band includes some of the region's most talented young rock musicians and represents "the best of the Mitrovica Rock School."
